At The Grand Pizzeria, we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our guests. Below, you’ll find detailed information about the accessibility features of our two locations: ByWard and Westboro Beach.

ByWard Location

Our ByWard location is housed in a historic building dating back to 1878, which adds to its charm but also presents some limitations in terms of accessibility. We’ve made every effort to accommodate our guests while preserving the heritage aspects of the building.

  • There are accessible parking spots available at the 41 George St parking garage. City streets can be uneven and challenging to navigate, especially during the winter months. We recommend dropping off guests with mobility needs by making a quick stop directly at the main entrance on George and William streets.

    Guests with accessible parking permits may also park in any on-street parking spot for up to 4 hours free of charge.

  • The entrance is accessible via a small incline ramp. While there is no automatic door button, we keep the doors open from spring to fall for ease of access. During the winter months, our team is happy to assist with the doors upon your arrival.

  • We have an ambulatory washroom available in the women’s restroom. If required, we are happy to clear the women’s washroom to ensure accessible use of the stall.

  • While the space inside is tight due to the building’s historic structure, we offer ideal seating at the booths by the entrance windows for guests with mobility needs. Please let us know in advance so we can make the appropriate accommodations.

  • Our patio is fully accessible and offers a comfortable option for dining. Please note that The Grand Pizzeria is a high-paced, busy restaurant, and we recommend informing us of any specific needs prior to your visit so we can best assist you.

  • For large parties, we typically seat guests on our banquettes, which require ascending two steps. Please keep this in mind when making your reservation.

Westboro Beach Location

Our Westboro Beach location is a newly built space designed with accessibility in mind.

  • There are designated accessible parking spaces located directly outside the restaurant. Additionally, a roundabout is available for easy guest drop-off. The exterior space is evenly paved, making it easy to navigate for all guests.

  • The entrance features automatic doors, and the dining room and patio are fully accessible with ample space for navigation.

  • Designated accessible washrooms are available, equipped with automatic doors for ease of use.

  • The space is thoughtfully designed to accommodate guests with mobility needs, while maintaining the vibrant, fast-paced atmosphere that defines The Grand Pizzeria.
